The Afiya Center

January 22, 2017 was the 44th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion in the United States. Now, more than perhaps ever before, it is essential to commemorate this anniversary and remember what we stand to lose when the rights we’ve already won are lost. At the same time, it’s important to learn about all the struggles for justice that we continue to experience. Texas Equal Access Fund and our partners at Jane’s Due Process, NARAL Pro-Choice Texas, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, The Afiya Center, and various other social justice organizations working in North Texas and beyond will be gathering for the 3rd annual Our Bodies Our Lives to commemorate Roe v. Wade in Dallas.
